Meetings
The VFW is a veteran-led organization. As such, we need you! At our meetings, we will discuss the direction of the post, plan events, and catch up. Please join us.
We meet on the first Sunday of each month at 1:00 PM.
Location: Hillsdale Assembly of God 4075 Beck Rd, Jonesville, MI 49250
*If the first Sunday falls on a Holiday, we will meet on the second Sunday of the month. All meetings are listed on our calendar below.
For Us, By Us
As Americans, we are called to self-government, liberty, and action. As service members, we rose to meet that responsibility. Regardless of the enemy, the place, or the time, Americans have always trusted that those who step forward will stand and fight on their behalf.
But the battle doesn’t always end on the battlefield. For many, it continues here at home.
At the Sgt. Michael P. Hodshire VFW Post, we uphold Steadfast Commitment and Continued Service—to our brothers and sisters in arms, and to the community we call home. We believe our duty doesn’t end with our discharge. It evolves.
There is a fight to be had—one we must not ignore. Suicide, addiction, and disconnection affect far too many veterans and neighbors alike. But the same fighting spirit that made our men and women so formidable in battle still lives within us. And together, we can prevail.
